It’s been awhile since I updated the PCT map with Justin and Melissa’s whereabouts. When our travelers started out their next long trek in the Sierra’s yesterday morning, Melissa sent me her coordinates with HandyGPS. Check out the progress they’ve made! In about a week we should hear from them again. With the snow and terrain, it is possible that this leg of their journey may take longer than a week (and could be 8 to 9 days), but they are prepared with their supplies (as we could only expect from the “Super People” team, per the post below). I’ll let you know if I hear more from them.

You are moving fast. Looking forward to your arrival in NorCal. I am shooting to take of the week of 7/18 – 7/25 to join you. Do you think you will still be on target for that week?
