Our travelers sent a location update (HandyGPS!) at around 12:30pm today. They are north of Los Angeles and Santa Clarita now, near Lake Hughes, California, it appears. The weather (according to weather.com) is sunny but windy (70 degrees, with up to 36mph wind). I wanted to post an updated map showing their progress. Have a great weekend! ~Mom

Finish those cookies before you get a new batch from my folks – eh? Sounds like a good trip thus far. I hope I can join you both somewhere on your trek. If not, I would be happy to meet you at some crossing point on my way to visit customers accross the Northwest. ~ Rob
